Glen E. Bailey of Chatsworth, IL passed at his home Friday, May 11, 2018 in Chatsworth, IL at the age of 64. A dedicated husband and father, Glen was married to Diane Page on October 18, 1975. Glen served his country in the United States Army from 1973-1977. Glen enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, his dogs, building model cars, woodworking, and most of all, spending time with family. One of his favorite places was Dawson Lake, where he taught his kids to fish. He was a jokester at heart and his laughter will be missed. Surviving are his wife Diane; his sons: Kevin and Daniel; daughters: Karen and Jennifer; sister: Barb; and 13 grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents: Homer and Irene (Tronowski) Bailey; one sister: Beverly; and two grandkids: Ethaniel Bailey and Cory Bailey. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Walter-Clemons American Legion in Chatsworth. A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday at the legion. According to his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Chatsworth is handling arrangements for the family.
