Shirley's husband Gerald was a teacher at
Chatsworth High School


Shirley Ann Ferguson, 77,
passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011, at her residence in
Greenwood.


She was born Oct. 19, 1933, in Terre Haute, to Oscar
Eugene and Hazel Ruth (Burnett) Hartley. She married Gerald J. “Jerry” Ferguson
on April 24, 1953. He survives in Greenwood.


She also is survived by a son, Jerry J. (Lynn) Ferguson
of Long Grove, Ill.


She was preceded in passing by her parents; and a
daughter, Jean Ann Ferguson.


Shirley was employed in the banking industry from 1950
to 1953 and from 1963 to 1970. She was employed by Gateway Services from 1970 to
1976 as a special services recreational director and at Earlywood Education from
1976 to 1980. She supervised the Special Olympics of Johnson County for many
years.


She was a member of the nondenominational Farmers Chapel
Community Church in Terre Haute. She was a member of the Women’s Club in
Chatsworth, Ill., and was active in Special Olympics for several
years.


The Rev. Paul Palusko will conduct a memorial service at
4 p.m. Saturday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31
North) in Franklin. Friends may call from noon until service time Saturday at
the funeral home.

81, of Lakeland, Florida died May 14, 2011 at her
home.


Ms. Hudson was born
November 29, 1929 in Chatsworth, Illinois and moved to Florida 25
years ago and worked as a Certified Nursing
Assistant
.


She was preceded in death
by her triplets John, Mary and Adolf and is survived by daughters Kathryn King,
Lakeland, FL, Rhoda Carter, Carmi, Illinois; son Tim
Haberkorn, Metropolis, Illinois; grandchildren Rich Carter, John King, Tanya
Haberkorn; great grandchildren Jamie Carter, Evan Carter, Autumn Haberkorn, Evan
Brown, Enrique Gonzalez; and brother Arlen (Barbara)
Kuntz, Fredericksburg, VA.

 
50th for Allan, Shirley Kietzman
CHATSWORTH -- Allan and Shirley Kietzman of Chatsworth will celebrate their
50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner and a trip at a later date.

Kietzman and Shirley Krueger were married May 27, 1961, at her parent's home
in Chats-worth.

Gene Kietzman and Darlene Winterland were their attendants.

They are the parents of Vicki Nettleingham of Cullom, Lori Denton of Edwards
and Cheri (Shawn) Malloy of Greenwood, Ind.

They have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He worked in highway maintenance for the Illinois Department of
Transportation, retiring in 1991.

She was a bookkeeper for Prairie Central School District, retiring in
1995.

Henrietta E.
Dehm
, 91, a resident of Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Normal, formerly
of Chatsworth passed away at 12:40PM Friday April 22, 2011 at the nursing home.
Funeral services will be 11:00AM Tuesday April 26, 2011
at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chatsworth with Jerry Gentes,
Minister of Pastoral Care officiating. Visitation will be 10:00AM to 11:00AM
prior to services at the church, where memorials may be made to: St. Paul’s
Evangelical Lutheran Church or Heritage Manor Legacy Care in Normal. Interment
will be at the Chatsworth Cemetery.

Henrietta was born August 28, 1919 in Chatsworth, a
daughter of William and Etta (DeBuhr) Henrichs. She graduated from Chatsworth
High School, class of 1937, and married LaVerne C. Dehm on January 10, 1942 at
St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chatsworth. He preceded her in death
on September 12, 2004.

She is survived by: two daughters: Gloria Leach of
Tuscola and Karen (John) Feely of Normal; Six grandchildren: Cindy (Andy) Wood
of Tuscola, Mark (Jennifer) Flessner of Elmhurst, Stephanie (Mike) Ogden of
Normal, Mike (Joy) Feely of Metamora, John (Julie) Feely of Normal, and Tom
(Laura) Feely of Normal; Seventeen great-grandchildren: Christian and Courtney
Wood, Olivia and Blake Flessner, Maggie Feely, and Thomas, Laine and Ayla Feely.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and
her siblings.

Henrietta was a devoted wife and homemaker. She farmed
with her husband their entire lifetime in the Livingston County area. She was a
charter member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday
School and Bible School for many years. Henrietta was also an active member of
the St. Paul Ladies Aid where she served as President, Secretary of Education,
and Secretary of Stewardship. She also served as chairman of the alter committee
and sang in the church choir.

Henrietta was a wonderful cook, especially known for her
delicious pies. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Her smile will always be remembered.

The family extends a special thank you to the wonderful
staff at Heritage Manor for their kind and loving care.
