Obit of Geneva (Dubree) Price

Geneva M. Price, 70, of Orange Park, FL, formerly of Chatsworth, IL passed away at 4:45 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Haven Hospice Custead Care Center in Orange Park, FL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Forrest with Pastor Kenneth Chumbley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Wednesday. Following services, burial will be in Strawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Renal Association. Geneva was born December 27, 1944 in Thompsonville, KY a daughter of Denton Thomas and Dora Beatrice (Froedge) Dubree. She married Charles Mattingly on April 26, 1963 in Pontiac, IL and divorced on September 23, 1976. She later married Donald Price Sr. on May 9, 1980 in Pontiac, IL. She is survived by one daughter: Tina (Michael) Griesert of Orange Park, FL; one son: Randy (Patricia) Mattingly of Gibson City, IL; three grandchildren: Denton and Chelsea Runyon, and Raymond Mattingly; one great grandson: Colton Ellis; one sister: Barbara Bates of Chatsworth, IL; and one brother: Toney Dubree of Lexington, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Donald Price Sr.; and one daughter: Barbara S. Mattingly. Geneva worked at Nichols Homeshield and Pafco Coil Factory over the years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed.
