Dorothy Remmers Hatch of Conifer, Colorado passed away at age 78 at home on October 19, 2013.
She was born on December 19, 1934 in Chatsworth, Illinois to Hilko and Blanche (Cording) Remmers. Dorothy graduated
from Lanphier High School and attended Western Illinois University. She worked at Sterling Stainless Tubing as an
accountant for over 20 years. She was passionate about water conservation and protecting animal habitats in Colorado.
She was a tireless advocate for causes that were close to her heart. In 1956 she married Fred Hatch in Alexis, Illinois.
Dorothy is survived by her brother William (Mary) Remmers; her three children, Jon (Vickie) Hatch; Cynthia (Jeffrey)
Teel; David (Lisa) Hatch; her six grandchildren, Katie (Aaron) Frey; Amy (Bradley) Molitor; Emily Hatch; Michael
(Allison) Hatch; Sarah (Christoper) Anderson; Benjamin Hatch and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Carl and David Remmers.
Cremation rites were accorded and private funeral services will be held at a later date.
