From: www.pantagraph.com 2010 40th for Gene, Carolyn RihaCHATSWORTH -- Gene and Carolyn Riha of Chatsworth will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house at 5 p.m. today at their home. They also plan a trip to Ireland at a later date. Riha and Carolyn Catlin were married Sept. 12, 1970, in Decatur. Their attendants were Don Dreesbach and Theresa Catlin Luebcke. They are the parents of Melissa Cornish, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mark (Heather) Riha, Spring, Texas; and Monica (Derrick) Maurer, Fairbury. They have eight grandchildren. They were both teachers in Prairie Central school district. He retired in 2007. She retired in 2009.
