Obit of Austin Lashand Hornbeck

Austin Lashand Hornbeck, 22, of Rockford, formerly of Pontiac and Chatsworth, died at 9:05 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford. Cremation rites were accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Austin was born Nov. 1, 1994, in Pontiac. He is survived by his mother, Heather Roe (Steve Murdock) of Rockford; his father, Mike (Kristin) Zapp of Forrest; a daughter, Albrin Hornbeck; a son, Avery Hornbeck; their mother, Alexandra Garza, all of Pontiac; five sisters, Shakia Roe of Rockford, Alexis Unander of Urbana, Patricia (Alex) East of Champaign, Riley Zapp of Galva, Ellie Zapp of Forrest; and four brothers, Jonathon Roe, Chatsworth, Jordan, Jacob and Jackson Zapp, all of Forrest.
