Obit of Kelly (Manning) Jones

Kelly Jones, 51 of Normal died Friday, May 4 at 3:41 PM at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by her family. Kelly was born on April 23, 1967 in Cambridge, MN a daughter of Franklin Delano and Barbara Ann (Clifford) Manning. Kelly was raised in Delavan, IL and resided in central Illinois. She married John Jones on June 16, 1986. She graduated from Illinois State University. Survivors include her son Matthew (Kristin) Jones, her grandson Grayson, her sister Mary Jane Pass, and three nephews, Dan (Alison) Huffine, Tim (Erin) Huffines and Tony (Ashley) Huffines. Kelly was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Clifford. Kelly worked as an early childhood education teacher in Chatsworth, IL and worked for the Prairie Central School District for 20+ years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, reading, watching her son play sports, and teaching her students. She was a loving mother, proud grandma, supportive sister and a great Auntie “K”. Cremation rites will be accorded and a visitation will be held on Friday May 11, 2018 from 3:00-6:00PM at Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Chatsworth, IL. Memorials in Kelly’s name may be made to Autism Speaks.
