Anna M. Diller, 83 of Chatsworth, IL, died on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 1:25 PM at Evenglow Tjardes Health Care Center in Pontiac.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of Chatsworth, with Pastor David Reynolds officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, Friday at the Church. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Chatsworth is handing the arrangements. Burial will be held at Chatsworth Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials in Anna’s name may be left to the United Methodist Church of Chatsworth or the Chatsworth Fire Department.
Anna was born on September 26, 1928 in Frostburg, Maryland, a daughter of Roy and Orpha (McKenzie) Miller. She married Homer Diller on September 26, 1946. They then moved to Illinois, where his family built a drain tile business.
She is survived by one sister: Laura (Edward) Bates of Ashland, OH and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Homer in 1995.
Anna was a 1946 graduate of Dalton High School in Ohio. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Chatsworth, where she was active on the Memorial Committee. She was a past president of T.O.P.S. and was a member of the Cornerstone Society. She enjoyed traveling with her husband.
