Obit of Matthew Aaron Weaver

Matthew Aaron Weaver, 27, of Newton, IL formerly of Chatsworth, IL passed away at 10:05 pm on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at his residence. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Chatsworth. Cremation rites will follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made towards funeral expenses. Matt was born February 10, 1989 in Pontiac, IL a son of Robert and Tamela Weaver. He is survived by his father Robert (Bobbie) Weaver of Gardner, KS; his daughter: Alaina and her mother, Katie Davenport of Forrest, IL; his siblings: Melissa (John) Edwards of Chatsworth, IL, JD Ellerbrook of Gardner, KS, Rebecca Weaver (Eduardo Pozos) of Chatsworth, IL, Brittany Ellerbrook of Gardner, KS, and Garin Weaver of Gardner, KS; his nieces and nephews: Lauren and Kaleb Edwards of Chatsworth, IL, Khloe Saverino of Chatsworth, IL, Atticus Pozos of Chatsworth, IL, and Ryder Skillett of Gardner, KS; his aunts and uncles: Daniel (Janet) Roberts, Lynette Roberts, Glenn Weaver, Tony Duay, Traci Osorto, Debbie (Chuck) Garrett, Amy Bishop, Robert Karnes (Tamara McKinsey), Corey Karnes, and Tina (Scott) Emsweller; and his maternal grandmother: Pamela Willis of Chatsworth, IL. Matt was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa: Loren Wilkins; both paternal grandparents: Roberta (Daniel) Roberts; and Leola Weaver; his mother: Tamela Weaver; and one brother: Michael Weaver. Matt was very strong and determined. If he loved you it was with his whole heart. His daughter was the apple of his eye. Being Alaina’s dad was his greatest accomplishment. They had such a great bond. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend who will be greatly missed.
