Obit of Mary Lou (Mosier) Clubb
Mary Lou Clubb, 75, of Chatsworth, IL passed away at 12:25 am on Friday, January 29, 2016 at her home
in Chatsworth.
Her eulogy and prayer service will be held at 5:00 pm Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Calvert & Martin
Funeral Home in Chatsworth with Charles Clubb officiating, assisted by Cindy Heern and Kayla Kaplan.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Sunday. According to her
wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following services. Memorial contributions may be made to a St.
Jude Midwest Affiliate.
Mary Lou was born April 11, 1940 in Morris, IL a daughter of Clinton and Lois (Williams) Mosier. She
married Carl E. Clubb on October 12, 1957 in Essex, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are their seven children: Carl (Theresa) Clubb of Onarga, IL, David (Lori) Clubb of Coal City,
IL, Kathleen Wood of Dwight, IL, Debbie (Al) Swiggett of Coal City, IL, Cindy (Paul) Heern of Hollywood,
Maryland, Susan Loveall of Chatsworth, IL and Roger (Ashley) Clubb of Chatsworth, IL; her grandchildren:
Chuckie Lee, Jazmin, Haleigh, and Cullen Loveall, Tim and Matthew Davis, and Kayla Kaplan, Kyle, Shelby,
Jacob, Jeremy, Brandon, Nick, Cody, Stephanie, Stephen, and Ben; her great grandchildren: Carl, Marilah,
and Alonzo, Zach, Damian, Mason, Dakota, Gavin, and Chase; her brothers: Joe and Ronnie Mosier; her
dearest nephew: Charles “Dubber” Clubb; her beloved dog, Buddy; many nieces and nephews; and two
special friends: Alice Loveall and Chris Nelson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister:
Cathy Clubb.
Mary Lou was a very talented artist who enjoyed writing, sketching and drawing. She loved being around
people and helping them in their time of need. She liked playing bingo and was a die-hard Chicago Cubs
fan.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly
missed.
