John “Jack” E. Cline, 75, of Forrest, IL, formerly of Chatsworth, Bensenville, and Melrose Park, IL
passed away at 6:30 pm on Friday, March 20, 2015 at McLean County Nursing Home in Normal,
IL.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Calvert & Martin Funeral
Home in Forrest. Burial will follow services at Chatsworth Cemetery. Memorial contributions may
be made to the Anti-Cruelty Society.
Jack was born July 3, 1939 in Fairbury, IL a son of Gerald Eugene and Mildred (Combs) Cline. He
married Colleen O’Connell on January 27, 1971 in Elmhurst, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are his two sons: Cory (Christine) Cline of Cropsey, IL and Anthony Cline of
Sandwich, IL; his mother: Mildred McLoughlin of Forrest, IL; four grandchildren: Antonio,
Christopher, Sean and Alex Cline; and one sister: Judith Skurka of Bloomington, IL. He was
preceded in death by his father: Gerald Cline and his stepfather: Paul McLoughlin.
Jack grew up in the Chatsworth area. He served his country in the United States Army, being
stationed in Alaska.
He had a great love for his pets, John Wayne, and Westerns. Jack was an avid sports fan. He was
a great son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed.
