Robert Dale Livingston, 68, Chatsworth, died at 9:54 pm Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at his residence, Chatsworth. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury followed by a public gathering at his daughter, Abby’s home in rural Strawn. All are welcome. Inurnment will be in Chatsworth Cemetery at a later date. The family suggests memorials be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Bob was born October 29, 1949 in Fairbury the son of Rufus and Nellie May Weaver Curtis. At the age of six he was adopted by William Stoddard Livingston. They precede him in death. Survivors include a son, Joe (Abby Thilmont) Livingston, Forrest, daughter, Abby (Dan) Eisenmann, Strawn, sister, Kathryn Ann (Bill) Bliss, Wentzville, MO, two brothers, Thomas William Livingston, Jonesboro, AK, Leland Mark (Nancee) Livingston, Chatsworth, and five grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Lyndsay, Gaige, Grace, Brayden and Lily. He is also preceded in death by a niece Megan Livingston-Propes. Bob was a graduate of Chatsworth High School and a lifetime farmer. He was an avid Harley rider and a member of the Illinois State Rifle Association and the National Rifle Association. The family would like to express their appreciation to Big Jim and Red for their friendship and support as well as to the community of Chatsworth for all they have done. Your love and support will not be forgotten.
