Richard E. Weakman, 67, of Chatsworth, Illinois formerly of Piper City, Illinois passed away at 1:44 P.M., Thursday, August 16, 2018 at OSF St. James John H. Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac, Illinois following a sudden illness. His graveside service will be at 1:30 P.M., Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the Brenton Cemetery in Piper City with Pastor Pete Hinrich officiating. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Richard was born on August 10, 1951 in Fairbury, Illinois to Kenneth M. and Bertha (Schunke) Weakman Sr. His childhood was spent in Piper City and he graduated from Piper City High School. Richard is survived by his daughter Mandi (Mike) Henrichs of Danforth, Illinois; three grandsons Colton, Chet and John Henrichs, two siblings Beverly Weakman of Kevil, Kentucky and Ken "Butch" (Joyce) Weakman of Bloomington, Illinois and friend Lisa Fuoss of Chatsworth. He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard was a electrician at PTC Alliance of Fairbury since 1973. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and working on projects around his home.
