CHATSWORTH — Reva Lillian Krueger, 97, Chatsworth, passed away at 7 p.m. Monday (Dec. 16, 2013) at Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Chatsworth United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ivy Silas officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Burial will follow the service in Gilman Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Chatsworth United Methodist Church, OSF Hospice or Fairview Haven Retirement Community.
Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Chatsworth, is handling arrangements.
Reva was born Sept. 30, 1916, in Clarence, Iowa, a daughter of Robert and Emma Weitrich Stanlake. She married Harold F. Krueger on Feb. 3, 1936. He passed away Aug. 13, 1989.
She is survived by her two daughters, Reva Darlene Winterland and Shirley (Allan) Kietzman, both of Chatsworth; three grandchildren, Vicki Nettleingham, Cullom; Lori Denton, Edwards; and Cheri (Shawn) Malloy, Greenwood, Ind.; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Taghon, Moline; two sisters-in-law, Lucy Stanlake, Davenport, Iowa, and Helen Krueger, Lindenwood; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Reva was a homemaker and seamstress. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family and friends. Reva was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a loyal Christian and member of Chatsworth United Methodist Church and loved her God and lived by his teachings.
