CHATSWORTH — Georgiana L. Moody, 59, Chatsworth, formerly of Decatur, passed away Tuesday (Feb. 22, 2011) at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
A private family service with private visitation to celebrate Georgiana’s life will be Saturday at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com.

Georgiana was born Dec. 20, 1951, in Decatur, the daughter of George Albert and Jacqueline J. Higar Baum. She married James T. Moody on April 5, 1981. Georgiana worked at PTC Alliance in Fairbury as a crane operator. She was an avid camper and loved line dancing.
Georgiana is survived by her husband, James; daughters, Dawn Poling, Seymour, and Amanda Crispen, Dwight; father, George Albert Baum, Decatur; stepchildren, Michael (Ann) Moody, Chatsworth; Michele (Jeff) Slunder, Mount Zion; Jamie (Scott) Jefson, Shelbyville; and Justin (Candice) Moody, Cabot, Ark.; siblings, Clifton (Shirl) Baum, Latham; and Caryn (Tom) Gibson, Roger (Donna) Baum and Rebecca (Tony) Grietman, all of Decatur; and 18 grandchildren.
Georgiana was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline, and one sister, Pamela.
