HINSDALE — Claudia Anne Kaiser, 56, Hinsdale, passed away May 4, 2010, at her residence.

A private Mass of Christian burial was on May 8 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Chatsworth. A private inurnment was at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Chatsworth.

Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn: Donor Services P.O. Box 650309 Dallas, TX 75265-0309. Martin Funeral Home, Chatsworth, has been entrusted with arrangements.

Claudia was born Sept. 12, 1953, in Pontiac, daughter of Howard and Blanche Strayer Taylor. She grew up on the family farm in Cullom, and married Patrick Kaiser on Aug. 30, 1975, at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Chatsworth. They spent the first 15 years of their marriage in New England, where three of their children were born before returning to the Chicago area in 1990.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick; three daughters, Elizabeth Kaiser, Philadelphia, Pa.; Margaret (Michael) Dorsey, Denver, Colo.; and Laura Kaiser, Hinsdale; one son, Michael Kaiser, Hinsdale; two brothers, Wayne (Lynn) Taylor, Pontiac, and Tim (Mary Jane) Taylor, Cullom; one sister, Sue (Steve) Moore, Bedford, Va.; and 17 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She graduated from Dominican University and was devoted to spending time with her family, decorating, fashion, gardening, art, cooking and traveling. She was very involved in all her children’s activities and supported them and her husband’s sales efforts. She valued her family above everything else and was a very loving wife and caring mother.
