Charles “Chuck” O. Barton Jr., 46, of Chatsworth, died at 1:06 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
His memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Inurnment will be in Chatsworth Cemetery at a later date.
He was born Jan. 10, 1964, at St. Louis, Mo., the son of Charles Sr. and Jean (Chatman-Garza) Barton.
Surviving are four children, Tiffani, Elizabeth, Alice and Brett, all of Chatsworth; four sisters, Jeanne (Gerald) Tauberschmidt and Angie McCure, both of Chatsworth, Kathy (Steve) Gibbs, Mascoutah, and Kim (Eddie) Bequette, of Florida; five brothers, John Barton, Chatsworth, Rick (Jessica) Garza, Pontiac, Joe (Rayanne) Hicks, of Florida, Dwayne (Sandy) Hicks, Bellville, and Keith (Kathryn) Barton, of Georgia; his father, Charles Sr. (Connie) Barton, of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Barton was preceded in death by his mother, one brother and one niece.
