Obit of Gail F. (Hahn) Hutchcraft

Not Chatsworth but wanted to recognize this person. So sad to lose a fellow genealogist.

GIBSON CITY — Gail F. Hutchcraft, 77, of Gibson City died at 4:50 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 3, 2018) at Heritage Health, Gibson City. Her graveside service will be at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, at Drummer Township Cemetery, Gibson City, with Pastor Paul Thomason officiating. Family and friends will then gather at Gibson City Bible Church for lunch and fellowship, followed by an open house at her home. Gail was born Nov. 7, 1940, in Chicago, a daughter of William F. and Lorene (Stroh) Hahn. She married Robert L. Hutchcraft on Nov. 9, 1958, in Gibson City. He preceded her in death Oct. 10, 2010. Gail was a bookkeeper for many years at Hager Lumber in Gibson City and for her husband’s MATCO business. Gail and her husband were avid genealogy researchers. They worked together to help families from all over find their ancestors. They visited cemeteries, libraries and courthouses throughout the state to gather information, which she compiled into an extensive database.
