Seminole, FL – Hazel Honzik, 99, of Seminole, FL, peacefully passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Freedom Square Nursing Pavilion, Seminole, FL. Cremation has been accorded. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Friday, July 27, 2018, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Wing with Pastor Lynette Barnett Officiating. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements. Hazel was born February 23, 1919, in Chatsworth, the daughter of Shelby and Clella (Perkins) Stephens. Hazel married Earl Hiles and later married Tony Honzik. Survivors include her brother, Thomas (Carolyn) Stephens, Forrest,; sister-in-law, Marge Stephens, Fairbury; brothers-in-law, Bernard (Dianne) Brucker, Colfax, Donald Fortna, Urbana; and many nieces and nephews. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters. Hazel worked in Ben Franklin Dime Stores in Wilmington and later moved to Florida, enjoying her life and traveling.
