James M. Huff, 82, born February 5, 1933 in Chatsworth, IL., peacefully
passed away, Saturday, July 25, 2015, surrounded by his family at his home
in Bloomington. A Father of four, Dianne Huff, Jim (Cheri) Huff, Tim (Sandy)
Huff, and Heidi Huff-Hargis. A Grandfather of Todd (Vicki) Huff, Tiffany
(Mark) Bode, Travis (Kristen) Huff, Chad Huff, Jarrett Huff, Marissa Huff, and
Tyler Hargis. A Great Grandfather to Shelby Huff, Taylor Bode and Brittany
Bode. He is preceded by his oldest Daughter, Dianne Huff, who was his
devoted caregiver until she passed in April 2014. Jim was a proud Veteran
of the US Army, serving in the Korean War. He worked as a laborer for
Rowe Construction until his retirement. He enjoyed farming and gardening,
and spending time at the VFW. He was a devoted family man, who showed
us love and guidance. His example of kindness will be remembered, as he
was giving, and always helping someone in need. He was loved and adored
by all, and we will miss his humor, his orneriness, and his smile. Special
Thank You to Megan Williamson, whose dedication and care for Jim this
past year was greatly appreciated. Visitation will be held at East Lawn
Funeral Home, August 4, 2015 from 4:30-7:30, and Funeral Service, August
5, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., also at East Lawn Funeral Home, with burial to
follow in East Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering in remembrance will be
