50th for James, Joanne Perkins
KEMPTON -- James "Jim" and Joanne Perkins of Kempton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. on Jan. 17 at First Baptist Church of Pontiac. They also celebrated in July with a two-week trip to Alaska.
Perkins and Joanne Bayston were married Jan. 17, 1960, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Chatsworth. Their attendants were Madge Nance and Boyd Hummel.
They are the parents of Ellen (Jim) Hoffman, Cullom; and Elaine Clapp and Steve (Stacy) Perkins, both of Herscher. They have seven grandchildren.
He is a farmer.
