James Edward Dehm, 57, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at his home in Jacksonville. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. James was born in Fairbury, Illinois on November 9, 1961 to Robert E. and Mary Ann (Mauritzen) Dehm. His childhood was spent in Piper City, Illinois and he attended Piper City Grade School and graduated from Ford Central High School in 1979. James also graduated from ITT Technical Institue in Indianapolis and DeVry University in Chicago. He was an electrical engineer and had worked for 4 years for the Federal Government on the Dew Line and then moved and worked in Boulder, Colorado. James later moved to Florida and worked for B.F. Goodrich and his latest work was for the Navy on Nuclear Vessels. He is survived by his father Robert Dehm of Chatsworth, Illinois; sister Cindi (Steve) Maples of Redgranite, Wisconsin; brother Randy (Delaine) Dehm of Metamora, Illinois; one niece, five nephews, three great-nieces, four great-nephews, cousins, an Uncle Father Joe Mauritzen, of Connectict, Aunt Pat Mauritzen of California, and Aunt Eve Peters of Florida. . James was preceded in death by his mother and several aunts and uncles. He was an avid Denver Bronco's and NASCAR fan and a kind/generous person. Jammer never met a stranger, he was very loved by all. His kindness, humor, and good nature will never be forgotten and we will always love and remember him. Obit of Evelyn Louise (Pearson) Kinate

Evelyn Louise Kinate, 91, of Forrest, passed away Sunday (Dec. 16, 2018) at the Good Samaritan Home, Pontiac. She was born Dec. 22, 1926, in Chatsworth, to Clarence and Maebelle Lear Pearson. She married George Kinate on Feb. 15, 1947, in Fairbury. He passed away Dec. 6, 2008. She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Kinate, Peoria; Jackie (Keith) Walter, Forrest; Cindy (Bob) Bales, Mahomet; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark; her parents; and her sister, Arladene Frechette. A private family burial will be Friday at Forrest Township Cemetery. Arrangements are being made by the Calvert Martin Funeral Home, Forrest. Memorials may be made to the Forrest Community Food Bank, the Good Samaritan Home of Pontiac or the Alzheimer's Association. Obit of James "JJ" Jamison

ELLIOTT — James L. "JJ" Jamison, 61, of Elliott, formerly of Chatsworth, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 6, 2018) at home, surrounded by his loving family. His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at Gibson City Bible Church, Gibson City, with Pastor Paul Thomason officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Elliott Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Carle Hospice. JJ was born April 23, 1957, in Harrisburg, Pa., a son of James L. and Alta Smith Jamison Jr. He married Shirley Turner on April 24, 1976, in Pennsylvania. He later married Debbie Lockwood on July 2, 1992, in Newark, Ohio. Surviving are his wife, Debbie Jamison of Elliott; children, Shelly Jamison of California, Melissa (Shawn Holmes) Bonnivier of Pontiac, Angela (Tony) Carter-Slager of Waterloo, Wis., Trisha (Sam) Carter-Wright of Harriman, Tenn., and Jay (Kari) Carter of Weldon; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. JJ was a forklift driver at Homeshield in Chatsworth for 30 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan, especially Tony Stewart. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, tinkering in the garage and was always willing to help anyone in need. JJ especially enjoyed being around his family and friends.
