Leola M. Weaver, 97, of Gilman, formerly of Chatsworth, passed away at 3:05 pm on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Gilman Health Care Center.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Chatsworth Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to her family.
Leola was born October 15, 1915 in Varna, Illinois a daughter of Charles and Pearl (Dorff) Salisbury. She married Stanley Weaver in Ottawa on September 11, 1934. He passed away September 27, 1971.
She is survived by her two sons: Glenn (Pearl) Weaver of Dayton, OH and Robert (Bobbie) Weaver of Gardner, KS; two foster children: Robert and Eddie Stevens; her grandchildren: Melissa (John) Edwards, Matt Weaver, Becky (Patrick Saverino) Weaver, Brittany Ellerbrook, Garin Weaver, Cedar Weaver, and John Ellerbrook; her great grandchildren: Lauren and Kaleb Edwards, Ryder Ellerbrook, and Khloe Saverino; and one sister: Virginia Brewer. Leola was preceded in death by her grandson: Michael Weaver; and many siblings.
Leola loved animals and collecting many things. She was a garage sale enthusiast.
